CREATING A SERIES FOR STARS TO UNWIND
With access to more entertainment than could possibly be consumed, overwhelmed customers needed help navigating what’s worthy of their time and money each month. We set out to make Xfinity a destination for everything “what to watch,” thereby generating brand love and increasing engagement with the platform. We leaned into Xfinity’s inherent fandom and their exclusive access to Hollywood’s biggest stars and created the owned content series, “Xfinity Hangouts.” In this exclusive series, entertainment editors have real, authentic conversations with celebrities, deepening the connection between the viewers at home and the content they love. The series remains a success garnering 5MM+ views and nearly 200k hours of watch time annually, with viewership averaging 5+ minutes per video.
