Tierney was engaged to create awareness and build excitement for the opening of Calder Gardens — a world-class art experience celebrating the works and ethos of Alexander Calder set to open in downtown Philly in late 2024. We started with a robust communications strategy, guiding stakeholder engagement with the City as the site moved through various governing bodies and approvals. Tierney supported the public debut of Calder Gardens, garnering local, trade, national and international coverage. We then helped orchestrate a successful groundbreaking ceremony with Philadelphia Mayor Jim Kenney among other key public figures, welcoming this unique space to our community. With more than 50 placements and 2.5 million media impressions, awareness for the next cultural gem in Philadelphia’s rich arts and culture scene continues to grow.
